Brazil vs Germany: Fans weep over loss at World Cup semi-final game
Brazil fans react to semi-final against Germany
Brazil got its butt kicked by Germany at their semi-final game at the World Cup, with Germany winning 7 to 1.
Brazilians, you might have heard, are crazy about soccer and with the added pressure of being this year’s World Cup host, they’re taking the loss hard. Fans both in the stadium and on the streets have been caught on camera openly weeping as they watch their World Cup dreams go down the drain.
This kid in particular, seen weeping into his cup, has quickly made the rounds on social media.
Some are taking the impending loss better than others, merely falling to their knees in anguish rather than contorting their faces into twisted, tear-streaked expressions of pure grief. Check out the range of emotion in the gallery.
